Who is Nadeen Ayoub? First Palestinian to Compete at Miss Universe 2025

Nadeen Ayoub, a Palestinian woman living in Dubai, has made history. She has been officially announced as the first-ever representative of Palestine at the upcoming Miss Universe pageant. The event will take place in Thailand on November 21, 2025.

In her announcement video on Instagram, Nadeen wore a white dress decorated with tatreez embroidery — a traditional Palestinian stitching art that tells stories of heritage and identity. She said, “Today, I step onto the Miss Universe stage not just with a title — but with a truth.”

Who is Nadeen Ayoub? From Miss Earth to Miss Universe

Nadeen is no stranger to the pageant world. In 2022, she became the first Palestinian to participate in Miss Earth. She placed in the top five, marking a proud moment for her and her country.

Alongside her pageant work, Nadeen is a psychology student. She is also an advocate for mental health awareness. She has spoken about the collapse of mental health services in Gaza and the struggles faced by children living in conflict.

“It’s more than a title,” she said. “It’s a platform to speak up for the people of Palestine, especially our women and children.”

Championing Palestinian Women

Through her initiative, Saidat Falasteen (Women of Palestine), Nadeen shares stories of resilience, creativity, and hope. She wants the world to see Palestinian women as dreamers, leaders, and creators — not only as victims of conflict.

“We are more than our struggle,” she explained. “We are women with dreams, talents, and a powerful voice to offer the world.”

Now, she prepares to carry her country’s flag to Miss Universe 2025 in Thailand. “I am proud to walk this path, not just as Miss Palestine, but as a voice for those who deserve to be seen and heard,” she said.
