Who is Norman White? Heartbroken Father Dies at Son’s David Beilicki Funeral in Middlesbrough

A heartbreaking tragedy struck at St Bede’s Chapel in Teesside Crematorium, Middlesbrough. Norman White, 61, collapsed and died while attending the funeral of his son, David Beilicki, whose coffin was being carried into the chapel.

The Shocking Incident

Witnesses said Norman suffered a suspected heart attack just as the funeral began. The chapel was cleared, and paramedics rushed to help him. He was taken to hospital, but sadly he did not survive. Family members later received the devastating news during the service.

Norman was the father of seven children. His sudden death left his daughter Chantelle and the rest of the family in shock. She said, “I think he died from a broken heart. Seeing all the family together was too much for him.”

David Beilicki’s Struggles and Death

David, 41, had been battling addiction for years. He was found dead on July 31 at a relative’s home. Despite his struggles, Chantelle said he had been staying clean and was improving before his sudden passing.

David’s death was especially painful for the family because it happened exactly 10 years after the memorial service of his stillborn twin sons.

He leaves behind two children, Ethan and nine-year-old Jaxon. Chantelle shared, “He had a heart as big as the ocean. My kids are devastated. The house feels empty without him.”

Remembering Norman White

Norman was known for his love of boxing and even coached others. His daughter described him as private but well-liked in the community. “He was my dad, and I idolised him,” Chantelle said.

She also praised Rose Funerals, who supported the family through the traumatic day. “They were patient, caring, and worked with us even while trying to save my dad.”

A Double Tragedy for the Family

The deaths of both Norman and David have left a deep wound in their family. Chantelle said she is still struggling to come to terms with losing her father and brother within weeks.
