On September 19, 2025, DPWH engineer Brice Hernandez claimed that Cajayon-Uy received ₱16.5 million in payoffs from 2022 to 2023. She quickly rejected the accusation, pointing out that she served as a congresswoman in Caloocan, not Bulacan.
On September 23, 2025, her name came up again when Hernandez’s former superior, Henry Alcantara, tagged her as another alleged recipient of commissions. Along with Cajayon-Uy, high-profile names such as Jinggoy Estrada, Joel Villanueva, Bong Revilla Jr., and Zaldy Co were also mentioned in the hearing.
