South Korean comedian Lee Jin-ho is again in the headlines. On Tuesday, September 24, 2025, police confirmed that he was caught for drunk driving in Gyeonggi Province. The incident happened around 3 a.m. when he was driving from Incheon to Yangpyeong-gun.

According to Yangpyeong Police Station, Lee was stopped after a report claimed that a driver was “driving under alcohol.” Police conducted a joint operation between regions and found him behind the wheel. His blood alcohol concentration was 0.11 percent. This is the level that can lead to a driver’s license cancellation in South Korea.

Blood Test and Ongoing Police Action

Lee was taken in for questioning but later returned home. He has asked for a blood test to confirm the result of the breathalyzer. The police are now waiting for the test results and have said more investigation will follow.
