According to Ronnie, she and Monica are biological sisters. Monica, originally raised by the Adamson family, carried the surname Bard before marrying into the Quartermaine family. Ronnie insists that Monica acknowledged this truth before her passing.

Tracy and Monica have known about Ronnie’s existence for years, but Tracy questions whether the woman now in Port Charles is truly Ronnie or an imposter. Tracy speculates that Drew may have hired an imposter to gain half of the family inheritance. Another theory suggests that Martin could be involved, possibly orchestrating Ronnie’s appearance to seek revenge on Tracy.
