Who is Dimple Hayathi’s Husband? Actress and Spouse Booked for Harassing Househelp

Tollywood actress Dimple Hayathi and her husband David have been booked by Film Nagar police in Hyderabad after their househelp lodged a complaint of harassment and assault.

According to reports, the complainant Priyanka Bibar, 22, alleged that she faced humiliation and abuse since the day she started working at their home. She told police that she was denied proper food, insulted regularly, and verbally abused.

Priyanka recalled that the couple once told her, “Your life is not even equal to my shoes.”

September 29 Dispute

The dispute took place on September 29. Priyanka alleged that Dimple and David abused her and threatened to kill her parents. When she tried to record the incident on her phone, David allegedly snatched it, smashed it, and attempted to assault her.

She also claimed her clothes were torn during the scuffle. With the help of an agent, Priyanka later approached the police and filed a formal complaint.

The househelp further alleged that the couple tried to force her into making objectionable nude videos.

Who is Dimple Hayathi?

Dimple Hayathi, 27, is a Tollywood and Kollywood actress born in Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh, to a Tamil father and Telugu mother. She made her film debut at the age of 19 with the Telugu movie Gulf (2017).

She later appeared in Devi 2 (2019), the popular item song Jarra Jarra from Gaddalakonda Ganesh, and played a role in the Bollywood film Atrangi Re (2021) alongside Dhanush and Sara Ali Khan.

Her recent works include Khiladi (2022) and Ramabanam (2023). She has a strong social media presence with over 1 million Instagram followers.
