A huge fire tore through the Edisto Beach home of South Carolina Judge Diane Goodstein. The blaze was caused by an apparent explosion, according to officials. Three people, including her husband Arnold Goodstein, were rushed to the hospital.

Who Is Arnold Goodstein?
Arnold Goodstein is a well-known attorney in South Carolina. He is the founder of the Goodstein Law Firm, which has been active since 2001.
In the 1970s, he served in the South Carolina House of Representatives and later in the State Senate. He is also a Vietnam War veteran.
Apart from law and politics, he once ran a construction company called Summerville Homes, which filed for bankruptcy in 2008.
Investigation Into The Fire
The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) is investigating the incident. Chief Justice John Kittredge called it an “apparent explosion” but did not confirm the cause.
Officials say arson has not been ruled out. Patrols in the Edisto Beach area have been increased.
