The post stated: “We carried out the shooting in Canada at Teji Kahlon. He was shot in the stomach. If he understands, fine. If not, next time we will finish him.”

• The December 2022 murder of gangster Raju Thehat in Sikar

• The December 2023 assassination of Karni Sena chief Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi

Authorities say the group has extended operations overseas, including in Canada, where several gang associates are believed to be active.

Linked Killings in India

The shooting of Teji Kahlon comes shortly after Ramesh Rulania, a 40-year-old businessman, was shot dead in a gym in Rajasthan’s Kuchaman town earlier this month.
CCTV footage showed the killer entering the gym around 5:20 AM and firing multiple shots before fleeing. Investigators suspect Rulania’s killing was also ordered by the Rohit Godara gang after he received extortion threats.

Police believe these incidents are part of a larger chain of revenge attacks and extortion operations tied to organized crime groups spreading from Rajasthan to Canada.
