NBC’s Chicago Med introduced a new character, Dr. Theo Rabari, in Season 11 Episode 4 titled “Found Family.” The role is played by Manish Dayal, a familiar face for fans of The Resident and The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon.

Manish Dayal, known for his charming screen presence, has joined the medical drama as the latest doctor in the Gaffney Chicago Medical Center. His arrival brings a fresh twist to the ongoing storylines and adds more depth to the show’s cast.

Manish Dayal’s Role in Chicago Med

In Episode 4, Dr. Theo Rabari is introduced during a meeting with other doctors and psychiatrists. He challenges traditional methods of mental health diagnosis and proposes using fMRI technology to improve accuracy and speed. Despite facing pushback from senior doctors, he stands firm on his belief in innovation.

Later, Dr. Charles, the Chief of Psychiatry, approaches Rabari for help with a patient who lost his arm. Together, they use the fMRI machine to better understand the patient’s condition. By the end of the episode, Charles offers Rabari a chance to continue at the hospital — but only if he agrees to put patients before technology.

Her caretaker, Vivienne, turned out not to be a match — but Billie, her biological mother, was. Their reunion was one of the episode’s most heartfelt moments.

Meanwhile, Dr. Frost struggled with homelessness and financial issues. Dr. Ripley stepped in to help him find shelter, showcasing the compassion and teamwork that the show is known for.

Elsewhere, Ripley and Lenox handled a troubling domestic abuse case involving a patient named Faye. Despite her denial of the abuse, the doctors continued to offer treatment and support.
