Who Was Xavier Zamarron? GoFundMe Raises Over $12,000 After Young Realtor’s Sudden Death

The community is mourning the death of Xavier Zamarron, a 23-year-old realtor and former Marine, who passed away on November 28. His family has not shared the exact cause of death, leading to an outpouring of sympathy and prayers across social media.

Xavier studied at Montgomery High School in San Diego. Soon after graduation, he joined the Marine Corps. During his service, he bought his first home, which sparked his deep interest in real estate. His website says he worked as a general contractor on weekends while serving in the military.

After completing his military duty, Xavier began his real estate journey. He joined eXp Realty in January 2025 and quickly became known for his dedication and friendly personality. He dreamed of helping 200,000 military families find homes by the year 2035.

The first news of his passing was shared on December 4 by fellow realtor and content creator June Malan. The next day, Xavier’s family posted an official announcement on his Instagram account.

In their message, the family also launched a GoFundMe campaign to arrange a proper memorial and Catholic Mass in his honor. The fundraiser has collected $12,040 out of the $13,000 goal. The family wrote that Xavier’s life was full of love, pride, and purpose and that they wanted to give him the farewell he deserved.

Friends, Family, and Teachers Share Emotional Tributes

The heartbreaking news was posted in the Montgomery High School Alumni group on Facebook. Many friends remembered Xavier as a cheerful, hardworking, and talented young man.

His brother, Emerald Zamarron, thanked everyone for their prayers. He requested privacy and said the family could not discuss the details of his sudden death. He described Xavier as a person who made a mark everywhere he went.

Xavier’s friend Kayla Lonzon shared a video tribute and remembered him as a funny, bright person who also had talent as a mariachi musician. She wrote that she felt grateful to have grown up with him.

Another close friend, Mario E. Torres, revealed that Xavier had called him on the same day he passed away. Mario said he would hold their last conversation close to his heart. He also mentioned the Marine Wings Xavier gifted him, saying they now hold deeper meaning.

Teachers, former classmates, and people who trained with Xavier in boot camp also shared their memories on both Facebook and Instagram. They recalled him as respectful, hardworking, and full of energy.

Xavier Zamarron leaves behind his wife, mother, siblings, and nieces, along with countless friends who admired him.
