Netflix’s latest reality series, Members Only: Palm Beach, which premiered on December 29, 2025, explores the glamorous lives of ultra-wealthy women in Florida’s exclusive Palm Beach society. While the cast includes Hilary Musser, Taja Abitbol, Rosalyn Yellin, Ro-mina Ustayev, and Maria Cozamanis, one figure consistently steals attention: Gale Brophy.

She serves as CEO of Estates By Brophy, “a hospitality company that offers two 5-star estate getaways in the Catskills for corporate retreats, weddings, family reunions, and other special events.” Beyond business, Gale is a philanthropist and former thoroughbred horse breeder, co-owning Strike the Gold, the 1991 Kentucky Derby winner. Reflecting on the horse’s success, she recounted, “MC Hammer was trying to buy the horse. And kept offering money, and I was like, you’re not buying this horse. This horse is going to win the Kentucky Derby.”

Gale was previously married to Wall Street executive Giles Brophy, with whom she shared a son. After his passing in 2006, Gale noted, “I have sincerely lost my mentor, best friend, and father of our 15-year-old son with the passing of Giles Brophy…….some of my greatest moments were because of Giles: our son, owning four Wall Street companies together, and winning the Kentucky Derby with Strike The Gold.”
