Petrol price cut by Rs15.39 per litre for next fortnight
Petrol price to see another drop in Pakistan from Oct 1
The government has announced reduction in prices of petroleum prices.
OGRA had sent a summary of the reduction in the prices of petroleum products to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, who approved the revision in rates.
The Ministry of Finance has issued a notification for the new prices of petroleum products.
According to the notification, the price of petrol has been reduced by Rs15.39 per litre and the new price has been fixed at Rs273.10 per litre. The price of high speed diesel has been reduced by Rs7.88 per litre. The new price of high speed diesel has been fixed at Rs274. 8 per litre. The price of light diesel oil has been reduced by Rs7.54 per litre and its new rate has been fixed at Rs161. 17 per litre. The price of kerosene has been reduced by Rs9.86 per litre. The new price of kerosene has been fixed at Rs173. 48 per litre.
The prices has been reduced to pass on relief of falling oil prices in the world market to the public.
