Solar panel prices drop in Pakistan - March 2025
Solar panel prices in Pakistan have dropped to an all-time low on Monday after witnessing a Rs30-32 per watt cut.
The industry insiders revealed that the reason being the drop in prices is due to the recent reduction in lithium battery costs globally.
In last 12 months, the prices of lithium batteries have been dropped up to 50 percent. However, this reduction of prices doesn’t affect prices of dry batteries.
In Pakistan, the clean energy sector saw a massive boom as more and more people are switching towards solar due to expensive grid electricity.
With the solar kit prices at an historic low, Pakistan is poised to continue its upward trajectory in the adoption of renewable energy sources.
