Gold Hits Record High as Prices Rise by Rs10,000 Per Tola - Check New Rates
Gold prices in Pakistan registered a significant increase on Friday, aligning with the global market trends.
According to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of gold per tola rose by Rs300, reaching Rs257,700.
Similarly, the 10-gram gold price saw an increase of Rs256, selling at Rs220,936.
This surge comes after a decline of Rs300 per tola in gold prices on Thursday. Silver prices also witnessed an upward trend, with a rise of Rs50 per tola, reaching Rs2,900.
In contrast, gold prices in Saudi Arabia took a different turn, with a drop in the price of 24-karat gold per tola to 3,433 Saudi Riyal (SAR) on Friday.
The 10-gram gold price in the kingdom stands at SAR 2,946, while the per ounce gold price is SAR 9,165, according to forexpk.
The APGJSA regularly updates gold and silver prices in Pakistan, providing a benchmark for the local market. The association’s rates are widely followed by jewellers and traders across the country.
The fluctuations in gold prices have a significant impact on the local market, influencing trade and investment decisions.
