Gold prices fall in Pakistan
Gold Rate in UAE Today: Gold Rate in Dubai – 5th March 2025
Gold prices in Pakistan experienced a decline on Monday, with the price of 24-karat gold falling by Rs600.
The precious metal was traded at Rs272,600 per tola, according to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA). The price of 24-karat gold per 10 grams also saw a decrease of Rs514, settling at Rs233,711.
In addition, the price of 22-karat gold was reported lower at Rs214,235 per 10 grams.
Meanwhile, silver prices remained stable in the domestic market. The rate for 24-karat silver remained unchanged at Rs3,350 per tola and Rs2,872 per 10 grams.
A detailed comparison of gold prices showed the following movements:
- Gold (24-karat per tola): Rs272,600 (down Rs600 from Dec 28, 2024)
- Gold (24-karat per 10 grams): Rs233,711 (down Rs514)
- Gold (22-karat per 10 grams): Rs214,235
- Silver (24-karat per tola): Rs3,350 (no change)
- Silver (24-karat per 10 grams): Rs2,872 (no change)
Over the past month, the price of gold has decreased by Rs3,600 per tola, while it has seen an increase of Rs30,900 year-to-date and Rs52,600 compared to the same period last year.
On the global market, spot gold prices traded near $2,613 per ounce, marking a decline of $10.9 or 0.42% from the previous session.
Investors are awaiting economic data from the US next week, as well as developments regarding the potential impact of President-elect Donald Trump’s return to office on the Federal Reserve’s outlook for 2025.
