Gold prices plunge in local market

The price of 10-gram 24-karat gold also dropped by Rs170, from Rs242,283 to Rs242,112, while the price of 10-gram 22-karat gold increased slightly to Rs221,944 from Rs222,100.

Meanwhile, the price of per tola silver fell by Rs24, settling at Rs3,381, while the price of 10-gram silver decreased by Rs21, reaching Rs2,898.

In the international market, the price of gold decreased by $2, from $2,705 to $2,703, as reported by the association.
