Gold prices soar to new highs in Pakistan amid global rise

Gold Rate in Pakistan Today – 28 June 2025
Gold prices in Pakistan continued their upward trajectory, hitting a fresh record on Saturday in line with rising global rates.
The prices of one tola of gold increased by Rs400, reaching Rs292,200, while the price for 10 grams of gold rose by Rs343 to Rs250,514, as per the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
On Friday, gold prices had already set a record, increasing by Rs1,500 to Rs291,800.
The surge in local prices mirrors the increase in international gold rates, which reached $2,797 per ounce, up by $5 on Saturday.
In contrast, silver prices saw a dip, falling by Rs30 to Rs3,270 per tola.
