Suzuki suspends bookings of popular WagonR

Suzuki has suspended bookings of all variants of popular car WagonR in Pakistan effective immediately.
A notification dated for March 11, confirmed the development directing all authorized dealers across Pakistan to suspend bookings of WagonR.
This move has also led to speculation about whether the Suzuki WagonR booking stopped due to declining demand or if a new model is on the way.
While, no specific reasons have been disclosed behind the move, industry experts believe production of Suzuki WagonR stopped either due to economic challenges in the auto sector or the company’s strategy to introduce a new vehicle in its lineup.
The company has not yet clarified whether this marks the end of the WagonR in Pakistan.
