Where to get fresh currency notes for Eidul Fitr 2025

In preparation for the upcoming Eid-ul-Fitr holidays, the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) has announced that commercial banks across the country have started issuing fresh currency notes to the public.

The SBP confirmed that the new banknotes will be available starting March 24, aiming to make the process smooth and accessible through its extensive branch network. These new notes will help ensure secure and easy transactions during the festive season.

In an official statement, the SBP said it is continuing its longstanding tradition of providing new currency notes for Eid through commercial banks. So far, over Rs27 billion in fresh notes of various denominations have been sent to 17,000 branches across Pakistan for public distribution.

To make the process more convenient, the SBP has also made arrangements to ensure that ATMs dispense high-quality notes without interruption throughout the holiday season.

In addition, cash monitoring teams have been deployed to inspect and supervise the distribution process and guarantee that the new notes reach the public fairly and efficiently.

People who wish to obtain the new currency notes are advised to visit their nearest bank branch or contact their bank for further details.

This initiative by the SBP ensures that the public can celebrate Eid with clean and fresh banknotes, maintaining tradition and promoting customer satisfaction.
