Profit rate increased on Short-Term Savings certificates - March 2025
The Central Directorate of National Savings (CDNS) has announced an increase in the profit rates for its Short-Term Savings Certificates, which are designed for investors looking for quick returns within a year.
These certificates, introduced back in 2012, offer flexible maturity periods of 3 months, 6 months, and 1 year. They are a great option for both Pakistani citizens and overseas Pakistanis looking for short-term investments. A minimum of Rs10,000 is required to invest, with no upper limit, and the certificates can also be used as collateral (pledged).
