PIA set to begin direct flights from Lahore to Baku

Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has announced the launch of direct flights between Lahore and Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan, starting from April 20, 2025.

As per the airline, the new route will offer two flights each week, departing from Lahore to Baku every Sunday and Wednesday.

This new air link is expected to strengthen bilateral ties in travel, tourism, and trade between Pakistan and Azerbaijan.

To mark the occasion, PIA hosted an exclusive launch event in Karachi, where media representatives, travel agents, and tour operators were briefed on the details of the new service.

PIA officials shared comprehensive information about the route, highlighting its potential to benefit both countries. They also emphasized the crucial role travel agents would play in ensuring the success of the new venture.

Baku has become an increasingly popular destination among Pakistani travelers, known for its picturesque landscapes, rich cultural heritage, and easy visa process.

PIA reaffirmed its commitment to making the Lahore–Baku route a commercial success, with hopes that the initiative will encourage more tourism and business exchanges between the two nations.
