Trump-backed World Liberty Financial partners with Pakistan Crypto Council

Trump-backed World Liberty Financial (WLF) has partnered with Pakistan Crypto Council.

The World Liberty Financial is a decentralized finance platform backed by US President Donald Trump.

WLF, in collaboration with the Pakistan Crypto Council Agreement, will help accelerate blockchain innovation, promote sustainable coin use and decentralized finance in Pakistan

The agreement was signed by Bilal Bin Saqib, CEO, Pakistan Crypto Council and team of World Liberty Financial.

The meeting was also attended by finance minister of Pakistan, SBP governor, SECP chairman and federal secretary IT.

The WLF delegation included Zachary Folkman, Zachary Wittkov (son of renowned businessman Steve Wittkov and US special envoy for the Middle East) and Chase Hero.

The delegation met the prime minister of Pakistan, Chief of Army Staff, Deputy prime minister, information minister and defence minister and formalized the partnership.

The partnership between the two is an important step towards Pakistan’s leadership role in the world of digital finance.

World Liberty Financial is backed by President Donald Trump and his son Eric Trump, Donald Trump Jr. and Barron Trump.

Trump himself has supported the World Liberty Platform on his social media platform X/Twitter.

In a tweet in September 2024, Donald Trump described the launch of the World Liberty Platform as a “historic moment”.

WLF aims to revolutionize the global financial system through blockchain.

The government of Pakistan has shown progress in adopting innovation.

Pakistan will further emerge as one of the fastest growing crypto markets in the coming days.

World Liberty Financial and Pakistan Crypto Council jointly launched regulatory sandbox to test blockchain financial products.

Responsible development and promotion of D-Fi protocols will be promoted under the partnership.
