Cement prices in Pakistan – check new rates (May 2025)

The prices of cement in Pakistan saw both increases and decreases during the week ending May 8, 2025, according to the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics.

In northern cities, cement prices slightly dropped by 0.47%, with the average price per bag going down from Rs1,423 to Rs1,417.

In contrast, prices in southern cities rose by 0.34%, with the average bag now costing Rs1,424, up from Rs1,420.

Cement Sales See a Big Boost in April 2025

Cement sales within Pakistan jumped by 7.64% in April 2025, reaching 2.516 million tons, compared to 2.337 million tons in April 2024.

Exports also surged by 34.56%, rising from 614,214 tons to 826,457 tons in the same period.

Total Dispatches (Local + Export):

• April 2025: 3.342 million tons

• April 2024: 2.951 million tons

• Growth: 13.24%

North-Based Mills:

• Total dispatches: 2.239 million tons (+7.22%)

• Domestic sales: 2.124 million tons (+9.39%)

• Exports: 114,467 tons (↓ 21.64%)

South-Based Mills:

• Total dispatches: 1.10 million tons (+27.81%)

• Domestic sales: 391,445 tons (↓ 0.95%)

• Exports: 711,990 tons (+52.09%)
