In May 2025, the Central Directorate of National Savings (Qaumi Bachat Bank) continues to offer attractive monthly profits on Behbood Savings Certificates. The profit rates were last revised in March 2025 and are still in effect.
What Are Behbood Savings Certificates?
These certificates were introduced by the Government of Pakistan in 2003 to support senior citizens and widows, helping them earn a steady monthly income. In 2004, the scheme was also opened to disabled persons and special minors (through their guardians).

Who Can Buy Behbood Savings Certificates?
These certificates are available to:
Citizens of Pakistan aged 60 years or above
Widows (who have not remarried)
Joint holders (senior citizens or widows)
Disabled persons with a NIC showing disability
Special minors through their legal guardian
Investment Limit
A single person can invest up to Rs 7.5 million, while joint investors can invest up to Rs 15 million.
Behbood Savings Certificates Profit Rate May 2025
The current profit rate is 13.68%. This means an investment of Rs 100,000 will earn a monthly profit of Rs 1,140. This rate provides a reliable income for eligible investors.
