Bank ATM Withdrawal Fees Increased Across Pakistan – July 2025

ATM fee hike: Cash withdrawals from other banks’ ATMs to cost more
Starting July 2025, commercial banks in Pakistan have raised the fees for withdrawing money from ATMs of other banks. The fee has gone up from Rs 23.44 to Rs 35 per transaction.
This new fee is part of the updated “Schedule of Charges” released by many banks. The rise in charges is due to higher operating costs and changes in how banks handle transactions.
The fee applies when customers use an ATM that does not belong to their own bank. Many customers are worried because they often use other banks’ ATMs, especially in areas where their own bank’s machines are rare.
Most of the fee collected is paid to One Link, the company that connects all ATM networks in Pakistan. The bank that owns the ATM machine gets a smaller share but takes care of its maintenance and repairs.
Banking experts say this fee increase might seem small. But for people who use other banks’ ATMs often, the extra cost can become a financial strain, particularly for those living in remote or less-served areas.
