Prize Bond 2025: Here’s How You Can Claim Your Prize Money in Pakistan

Prize bonds in Pakistan come in six denominations: Rs 100, Rs 200, Rs 750, Rs 1,500, Rs 25,000, and Rs 40,000. The draws are held quarterly, and the results are released by National Savings.

If you’re among the lucky winners, here’s how to claim your prize: First, confirm that your bond number matches the winning list. Then, fill out a claim form and submit it along with a photocopy of your CNIC and the original winning prize bond (signed), to the nearest office of the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP BSC).

“The claim for the prize money can be submitted after three to four working days from the date of draw, and you have up to six years to file your claim.”

Settlement time for claims varies:

• Up to Rs 18,500: Same day
• Up to Rs 185,000: 10 working days
• Above Rs 500,000: 20 working days

Taxes are deducted based on your filer status. “You have to pay 25% of your prize money in case you are a non-filer. In case you are a filer, only 15% will be deducted at the time of payment.”

Claims can be lodged at any SBP field office. Make sure to provide:

• A filled claim form (available at help desks)
• Photocopy of valid CNIC
• Original winning bond (signed)
• Photocopy of the bond (signed)
