The Pakistani Rupee gained strength on Friday, appreciating by 77 paisas against the US Dollar in interbank trading. It closed at Rs 283.45, compared to Rs 284.22 on Thursday.
In the open market, however, the buying rate of the dollar was Rs 285.50, and the selling rate was Rs 286.55, as reported by the Forex Association of Pakistan.
Other major currencies also saw a drop:
The Euro fell by Rs 1.46, closing at Rs 332.88.
The British Pound dropped by Rs 3.86 to Rs 381.59.
The Japanese Yen slipped by 3 paisas to Rs 1.91.
The Emirates Dirham and Saudi Riyal both decreased by 21 paisas, closing at Rs 77.17 and Rs 75.55, respectively.
These small changes reflect daily market trends and currency movements based on demand and supply.
