Cement prices drop in Pakistan – check new rates

Cement prices updated in Pakistan for September 2025
Cement prices in Pakistan have dropped, mainly due to heavy rains and flooding in many parts of the country.
According to the Federal Bureau of Statistics (FBS), the average price of a 50-kg cement bag is now Rs. 1,412, which is Rs. 36 less than last year’s average of Rs. 1,448.
Prices still vary from city to city. Quetta has the highest rate at Rs. 1,510 per bag, while Bannu has the lowest at Rs. 1,340. In other major cities, cement is being sold for Rs. 1,367 in Islamabad, Rs. 1,372 in Rawalpindi, Rs. 1,440 in Gujranwala, Rs. 1,430 in Sialkot, Rs. 1,443 in Lahore, Rs. 1,370 in Faisalabad, Rs. 1,400 in Sargodha, Rs. 1,409 in Multan, Rs. 1,440 in Bahawalpur, and Rs. 1,367 in Karachi.
In other regions, prices are Rs. 1,427 in Hyderabad, Rs. 1,465 in Sukkur, Rs. 1,407 in Larkana, Rs. 1,350 in Peshawar, and Rs. 1,483 in Khuzdar.
Experts say the price drop is mainly because construction activity has slowed down due to the bad weather and floods, which has lowered the demand for cement.
