Gold prices drop by Rs1,500 in Pakistan - check new rates
Gold prices in Pakistan went down on Friday, following the same trend in the international market.
In the local market, the price of gold per tola fell by Rs1,500, closing at Rs355,700. The rate for 10 grams of gold also slipped by Rs1,286, now standing at Rs304,955, according to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
Just a day earlier, on Thursday, gold prices had gone up by Rs2,000 per tola, reaching Rs357,200.
In the global market, gold also dropped by $15, settling at $3,330 per ounce including a $20 premium, APGJSA reported.
Meanwhile, silver prices in Pakistan stayed the same at Rs4,031 per tola.
