Cement prices updated in Pakistan for September 2025

03 September, 2025 13:46

Recent floods in Pakistan have slowed down many construction projects, causing delays, higher costs, and loss of building materials.

Transport has also been affected as large parts of the country remain underwater. Amid this crisis, cement prices have seen slight changes, showing a competitive but stable market.

Latest Cement Prices (September 2025)

Cement brands are priced in a narrow range, mostly between Rs. 1,380 to Rs. 1,430 per bag.

  • Cherat, Falcon, and Flaying Pakistan are the most affordable at Rs. 1,380.

  • Askari and Kohat are slightly higher at Rs. 1,390.

  • DG Khan, Fauji, Lucky, and Pioneer are steady at Rs. 1,400.

  • BestWay is a bit higher at Rs. 1,410, while Maple Leaf tops the list at Rs. 1,430.

This shows that most cement brands are competing closely, with only small differences in pricing. Maple Leaf positions itself as a premium option, while Cherat and Falcon remain budget-friendly choices.

Cement Sales Growth

Despite the tough conditions, cement sales have shown strong growth:

  • August 2025: Local sales rose to 3.097 million tons, up 10.33% compared to August 2024.

  • Exports also jumped by 22.13%, reaching 749,723 tons.

  • In the first two months of FY26 (July–August 2025), total cement dispatches increased by 20.88% to 7.847 million tons.

    • Domestic deliveries grew by 14.25%.

    • Exports surged by 51.29% compared to last year.

Industry Demands

While sales are growing, the sector faces challenges from floods and heavy rains. Industry members are calling on the government to cut cement taxes so that construction and rehabilitation costs in flood-hit areas can be reduced.
