Gold prices in Pakistan reach record high - check new rates
Gold prices in Pakistan fell on Thursday, following the trend of the international market.
According to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of gold per tola dropped by Rs4,100, bringing it down to Rs384,000. Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold decreased by Rs3,515, now standing at Rs329,218.
Just a day earlier, on Wednesday, gold prices had remained steady at Rs388,100 per tola after a sharp increase of the same amount on Tuesday.
In the international market, gold prices also went down. The rate stood at $3,618 per ounce (including a $20 premium), after losing $36.
Meanwhile, silver prices also saw a decline. The price per tola of silver dropped by Rs32, reaching Rs4,326.
