Gold prices surge by Rs4,700 per tola in Pakistan – check new rates

Gold prices in Pakistan saw a big jump on Tuesday, following the rise of the yellow metal in the international market.

According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of 24-karat gold increased by Rs. 4,700 per tola, reaching Rs. 391,000. The price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold also went up by Rs. 4,030, bringing it to Rs. 335,229.

For 22-karat gold, the new price of 10 grams is Rs. 307,295 after a rise of Rs. 3,695.

In the global market, gold prices climbed by $49 per ounce, reaching $3,692.

Silver rates also went up in both local and international markets. In Pakistan, the price of per tola silver rose by Rs. 53 to Rs. 4,496, while 10 grams of silver increased by Rs. 45 to Rs. 3,854.

Globally, silver prices jumped by $0.54, reaching $42.69 per ounce.
