Gold price falls by Rs 2,500 per tola in Pakistan - check new rates
Gold prices in Pakistan dropped by Rs 2,500 per tola on Thursday, following a decline in the international market.
According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewelers Association, the price of 24-karat gold fell to Rs 407,778 per tola, while the price of 10 grams decreased by Rs 2,144 to Rs 349,603. The price of 22-karat gold also went down to Rs 320,481 per 10 grams.
On the global market, gold prices slipped by $25 per ounce, bringing the rate to $3,865.
Silver Prices Go Up
In contrast, silver prices increased both locally and internationally. In Pakistan, the price of 24-karat silver rose by Rs 13 per tola, reaching Rs 4,839, while 10 grams of silver went up by Rs 11 to Rs 4,148.
Internationally, silver gained $0.13 per ounce, reaching $47.40.
