Gold prices rise by Rs5,500 per tola in Pakistan – check new rates

13 October, 2025 15:52

Gold prices in Pakistan reached a record high on Monday, following a sharp rise in the international market.

According to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of gold per tola increased by Rs5,500, hitting an all-time high of Rs428,200. Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold rose by Rs4,715, bringing it to Rs367,112.

This surge comes after Saturday’s increase, when gold prices had already climbed by Rs2,100 per tola, reaching Rs422,700.

In the global market, gold also gained strength, trading at $4,071 per ounce (including a $20 premium) — a $55 rise in a single day.

Silver prices followed the same trend, rising by Rs147 per tola to reach Rs5,247.

Experts believe that rising global demand and economic uncertainty are the main reasons behind the continuous increase in gold prices both locally and internationally.
