Gold prices surge by Rs6,900 per tola in Pakistan - check new rates
Gold prices in Pakistan have once again increased sharply, following a record surge in the international market. On Tuesday, the price of gold rose by Rs6,900 per tola, continuing the upward trend seen over the past few days.
According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, the rate of 24-karat gold climbed to Rs435,100 per tola, while the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold went up by Rs5,916 to reach Rs373,028.
Similarly, 22-karat gold also became more expensive, rising by Rs5,423 per 10 grams to Rs341,954.
In the global market, gold prices hit an all-time high of $4,140 per ounce, after an increase of $69.
Meanwhile, silver prices stayed unchanged both in Pakistan and internationally, showing no major movement.
