Gold prices reach new all-time high in Pakistan - check rates
Gold prices in Pakistan hit a new record on Wednesday, continuing their sharp rise.
In the international market, the price of gold per ounce jumped by $58, reaching a new all-time high of $4,198.
Following this global increase, the local gold market in Pakistan also saw a big jump. The price of 24-karat gold per tola rose by Rs5,800, bringing it to a new record of Rs440,900.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold increased by Rs4,972, reaching Rs378,000.
Silver prices also surged, with 24-karat silver per tola increasing by Rs90 to reach a historic high of Rs5,337.
