Gold prices fall by Rs 3,500 per tola in Pakistan - check new rates
Gold prices fell further on Thursday in both Pakistani and international markets, continuing their downward trend.
According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of 24-karat gold dropped by Rs 3,500 per tola, reaching Rs 433,862 in the local market.
The price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold also went down by Rs 3,001, now standing at Rs 371,966, while 10 grams of 22-karat gold fell by Rs 2,751 to Rs 340,981.
In the global market, gold prices also declined, dropping by $35 per ounce to $4,115.
Meanwhile, silver prices stayed unchanged both locally and internationally. In Pakistan, 24-karat silver is priced at Rs 5,110 per tola and Rs 4,381 per 10 grams. Globally, silver remained steady at $49.26 per ounce.
It is worth noting that on Wednesday, gold prices had already seen a major fall of over Rs 7,500 per tola in the Pakistani market.
