1500 prize bond draw date announced – Check prize details

LAHORE: The National Savings Centre in Lahore will conduct the first Rs1,500 prize bond draw of 2026, giving citizens a chance to win cash prizes.

All Pakistani citizens can buy prize bonds from SBP-BSC offices, authorized commercial bank branches, and National Savings Centers. To purchase a bond, applicants need to submit a form along with a copy of their valid CNIC.

Prize money can be claimed at any SBP BSC field office, designated commercial bank branches, or National Savings Centers by completing the official claim form.

1500 Prize Bond Prize Money

According to the central bank:

• First prize: Rs3 million

• Second prizes: Three winners, each getting Rs1 million

• Third prizes: 1,696 winners, each receiving Rs18,500

Tax Deduction on Prize Money

Winners will be taxed depending on their tax-filing status:

• Tax filers: 15% tax on prize money

• Non-filers: 30% tax

This means registered tax filers will have a smaller portion of their prize deducted compared to non-filers.
