Gold prices in Pakistan continued to increase on Wednesday, following trends in the international market.
In the local market, the price of gold per tola went up by Rs1,300, reaching Rs541,262. Similarly, the price for 10 grams of gold rose by Rs1,114 to Rs464,044, according to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
On Tuesday, gold had already gained Rs3,400 per tola, closing at Rs539,962.
In the global market, gold prices increased by $13, reaching $5,185 per ounce, including a $20 premium.
Silver prices in Pakistan also went up, rising by Rs268 per tola to Rs9,554.
The continued rise in precious metal prices reflects both local demand and changes in the international market.
