OGRA announces reduction in LPG prices – check new rates

KARACHI: The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has announced a small reduction in liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) prices and issued an official notification with the new rates.

According to OGRA, the price of LPG has been reduced by Rs0.21 per kilogram. The new price is now Rs225.84 per kg. After this change, the cost of an 11.8-kg domestic LPG cylinder has gone down by Rs2.52, bringing the new price to Rs2,664.88.

Officials said the revised prices will apply across the country under the latest pricing mechanism.

LPG is commonly used for cooking and business purposes, especially in areas where natural gas is not available. Prices are adjusted from time to time based on market calculations approved by the regulator.

Earlier, on January 31, 2026, OGRA had increased LPG prices by Rs6.37 per kg. At that time, the price was set at Rs226.6 per kg. The price of an 11.8-kg cylinder had also gone up by Rs75.21, reaching Rs2,667.40, according to an official notification issued by the authority.
