Gold prices drop in Pakistan – March 5, 2026: Check new rates

Gold prices in Pakistan dropped on Thursday following a decline in the international market.

According to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of gold per tola in the local market decreased by Rs2,800, bringing it down to Rs537,162.

Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold also fell by Rs2,401 and settled at Rs460,529.

A day earlier, on Wednesday, gold prices had already seen a major drop. The price of gold per tola fell by Rs10,000 and closed at Rs539,962.

In the international market, gold prices declined by $28 per ounce, taking the rate to $5,144 per ounce, which includes a $20 premium.

Meanwhile, silver prices also went down in Pakistan. The price of silver per tola dropped by Rs194 and reached Rs8,810.
