Gold prices drop in Pakistan – April 2, 2026: Check new rates

Gold and silver prices have fallen by thousands of rupees in both local and international markets.

The local Jewellers Association said that the price of gold per tola has dropped by Rs 7,100, reaching Rs 486,962. Similarly, 10 grams of gold became cheaper by Rs 6,087, now costing Rs 417,491.

The main reason for this big drop in Pakistan is the fall in gold prices in the global market. Internationally, the price of gold per ounce decreased by $71, bringing it down to $4,642.

Silver prices also showed a downward trend. The price of silver per tola fell by Rs 350, setting the new rate at Rs 7,634.

This decline reflects the ongoing changes in global markets and affects investors and traders in Pakistan.
