The SBP also points to evidence of Saudi Arabia’s ongoing financial commitment to help Pakistan achieve economic stability during these challenging economic times.
The development comes as Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif was visiting Saudi Arabia to promote diplomatic efforts aimed at peace in the Middle East.
The Prime Minister’s Office stated that during this trip, the Prime Minister had an audience with Crown Prince Mohamed bin Salman in Jeddah and thanked him for Saudi Arabia’s continued support of Pakistan’s economic stability.
In addition, while in Jeddah the Prime Minister expressed support for Saudi Arabia due to the current political unrest in the region, noting “the people of Pakistan stand shoulder to shoulder with our Saudi brethren.”
Finally, he offered to convey his condolences to those affected by these unfortunate incidents there.
