SIFC Facilitation Brings Major Boost to Karachi’s Industrial Sector

An important development has taken place to promote industrial activity in Karachi with the facilitation of the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC).

A decision has been made to expand the Karachi Industrial Park into a major hub for export-oriented industries, investment and employment.

A Federal Special Economic Zone Authority (SEZA) will be established to oversee and implement the Karachi Industrial Park project.

A delegation of the Federal SEZA, led by Additional Secretary SIFC Sajid Qazi, held an important meeting with the Karachi business community.

The meeting discussed investors’ concerns, facilitation measures and ways to remove business-related hurdles.

With SIFC facilitation, new opportunities for industrial activity, investment and exports are emerging in Karachi.
