Chrome adds picture-in-picture support for web pages

Google has made a significant change to the Chrome browser for mobile users.

The company has announced the introduction of a feature called Minimized Costume Tabs for Google Chrome. This feature will add picture-in-picture support for web pages in Google Chrome. This will make it much easier for users to switch between an app and its web content.

That is, when they click on a web link in an app like Gmail, that webpage will open in picture-in-picture mode and appear in a small window above the app’s content.

That means they won’t need to open a browser or webview, but instead stay in an app while browsing through costume tabs.

When the picture-in-picture window is minimized, the Costume tab will appear on the side of the screen. When the page is maximized, click the down arrow to switch it back to picture-in-picture mode.

This new feature has been introduced for Android users and will be applied by default, meaning that the user does not need to do anything.
