Chief Justice of Pakistan Qazi Faiz Isa has deposited the precious gifted pen ‘Bab-e-Kaaba’ in Toshakhana.

Chief Justice Qazi Faiz Isa was given a gift of a valuable pen by Muslim World League Secretary Muhammad bin Abdul Karim Issa, which he deposited in the Toshakhana.

The CJP secretary had written a letter to the Secretary Cabinet Division to keep the gift of a valuable pen in the Supreme Court Museum.

It should be remembered that Sheikh Muhammad bin Karim Issa, the Secretary of Muslim World League, met the Chief Justice on April 8, in which he also presented a valuable gift to Qazi Faiz Isa.

Muslim World League is an international non-governmental organisation  headquartered in Makkah with members from all Islamic countries and sects.

Toshakhana — a Persian word meaning “treasure house” — was established in 1974. Toshakhana is under the administrative control of the Cabinet Division, which stores precious gifts given to rulers, parliamentarians, bureaucrats and officials by heads of other governments and states and foreign dignitaries as a goodwill gesture.

The department has valuables ranging from bulletproof cars, expensive paintings to watches, gold-plated souvenirs, ornaments, rugs and swords.
