CM Maryam lands in trouble for buying McDonald meals

Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz lands herself in trouble after buying McDonald meals for children despite the self-imposed boycott is in force by masses in Pakistan.

Thought, she distributed the meals and other gift among the school children in Murree on Tuesday, but was criticized by the netizens on X for the move.

It is worth mentioning here that, a self-enforced boycott is in place by Muslims including Pakistan after the fast-food chain announced to provide free meals to the Israeli military after October 07 attack on Gaza.

After the announcement, in various countries, including Pakistan, McDonald’s faced boycotts.

During her visit, she inspected school facilities, including health services, preceded the distribution of McDonald’s meal bags by the provincial government the next day.
