BISE Lahore exam centres update as matric papers 2026 begin tomorrow – check details

According to officials, the sensitive centres in Lahore include Government ND Islamia High School Achhra, Government High School Berki, Government Science College Berki, Government High School Atoki Awan, Government High School Jallumor, Chung, Maraka Quarter, and Sher Shah Colony.
Besides Lahore, four centres in Kasur, seven in Sheikhupura, and one in Nankana Sahib have also been declared sensitive due to security concerns.
The matric exams will start with papers of Arabic, Commercial Geography, and History. Around 250,000 students are expected to appear in exams across 880 centres under BISE Lahore.
Strict security measures have been introduced at all centres. A total of 26 centres will be monitored through CCTV cameras, while Section 144 will be enforced to restrict unnecessary gatherings. Only students with valid identification will be allowed to enter the examination halls.
Officials have also banned the entry of unrelated افراد to prevent cheating and maintain discipline during the exams. These steps are aimed at ensuring transparency and fairness in the examination process.
The matric exams will continue until April 16, ending with Punjabi and Islamic History papers. After that, ninth-grade exams will start from April 17.
