School holidays extended until April 15? Here’s the reality

In Karachi, a viral notification on social media claiming that school holidays have been extended until April 15 has been declared fake.

Sindh Education Minister Syed Sardar Shah clearly said that the notification is not real and has no truth.

He explained that a document is being shared online claiming that due to smart lockdown and fuel shortage, holidays in educational institutions across the province have been extended.

The viral message also claimed that exams would continue as per schedule despite the holidays.

However, the minister rejected all these claims and said the information is completely false and misleading.

He requested parents and the public not to believe unverified news and to trust only official government sources.

He also confirmed that educational institutions across the province will remain open as usual and no decision has been made to extend holidays.
