Eid-al-Fitr 2024 holidays announced

The government of Saudi Arabia has announced a four-day Eid-al-Fitr holiday for both public and private sector employees starting on April 8.

The four-day holiday will run from April 8 to April 11, with Friday and Saturday also being declared off by the government.

The holiday will extend to a total of six days.

The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development has also confirmed the development.

The private and public sector employees will resume work on Sunday, April 14.

Eid-ul-Fitr marks the end of the holy month of Ramadan, as it is regarded as a joyous occasion for Muslims all over the world.

On this occasion, families and friends get together, exchange gifts, share meals, and express gratitude.
